Hamza Dawood Comments After Al-Shorta's Loss to Al-Zawraa
Hamza Dawood commented in an interview on the program 'Extra Time' on Al-Rabiaa Sports Channel, after Al-Shorta's loss to Al-Zawraa yesterday with a score of (1-0), in the 29th round of the Iraqi Stars League.
Dawood said: "Al-Shorta's loss to Al-Zawraa was expected, and the team wasted many opportunities, especially in the second half, and Al-Zawraa entered the match with great motivation and support, and therefore deserved to win."
He continued: "With Al-Zawraa's victory over Al-Shorta, I still believe that Al-Shorta is the closest to winning the league title for the fourth consecutive time, as they have a good coach and more than wonderful players."
He concluded his remarks by saying: "This season's league is witnessing great competition among the clubs, unlike previous seasons, and nevertheless, I believe Al-Shorta will win it at the end of the league."
