Al-Zawraa Club President: We Will Play the Police Match for the Reputation of Iraqi Football
Hossam Ali, the president of the temporary administrative body of Al-Zawraa Club, confirmed that his team will enter the summit match against the Police with high spirits and great determination, despite all the circumstances and challenges the club has faced in recent days, especially regarding the case of player Hassan Abdul Karim "Qouqia".
Hossam Ali stated in media remarks: "We will play this match for the name of Al-Zawraa and the reputation of Iraqi football, and we will work with all our energy to deliver a performance that honors the history of the club and its esteemed fans."
He added: "Despite the injustice the team has faced recently, we believe that Al-Zawraa is bigger than being affected by the absence of one player, and we will prove that on the field."
He continued: "After the match, we will have a clear position, and we will reveal many matters that happened behind the scenes, which affected the club's image in the sports community."
He concluded: "Our confidence in the coaching staff and players is high, and we hope that the match will proceed in a high sporting spirit, away from any external tension."
