Talal Al-Balushi: We Face Difficult Challenges and Will Play with High Spirit Against Nawruz
Zakho Club coach Talal Al-Balushi confirmed that his team is facing a tough match against Nawruz in the 29th round of the Iraqi Stars League, pointing out that the team is going through a clear phase of decline in terms of results, but he relies heavily on the determination of the players and their high spirit to correct the course and regain balance.
Al-Balushi explained that the match against Nawruz requires great focus and high discipline on the field, especially since the opponent has good players despite the absences they are suffering from, noting that Zakho will try to take advantage of these circumstances to achieve a positive result that restores confidence to the fans.
He said: "We fully understand the magnitude of the challenges we are facing, the team has not been at its best in recent matches, and the results have not met expectations, but we are working hard to overcome this phase."
He continued: "The Nawruz match will not be easy, especially since the opponent has good players, even with the absence of some names, but their style of play remains organized and requires special handling."
He added: "We need to play with high concentration from the first minute until the final whistle, and to convert opportunities into goals, because offensive effectiveness has been one of the main reasons for our decline in previous rounds."
He concluded: "The players feel the responsibility, and there is a strong desire to change the image the team has shown recently, and I trust them and their ability to deliver a great match despite the difficulty of the task."
He added: "The Zakho fans deserve the best, and we promise them that we will play with everything we have for them, and we hope that this match will be a new starting point towards better results."
