Al-Shenawy: Sundowns is a Strong Opponent and the Match Will Be Difficult
Mohamed Al-Shenawy, the goalkeeper of Al-Ahly, confirmed that facing Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa will be difficult.
Al-Ahly will meet Sundowns tomorrow, Saturday, in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
Mohamed Al-Shenawy said in the pre-match press conference: "Facing Sundowns is definitely tough; they are a strong opponent and have succeeded in acquiring distinguished players."
He added: "There are two matches in Pretoria and Cairo, and there is a great focus to deliver our best during tomorrow's match."
He concluded: "Al-Ahly is a big club with 12 African titles, and it is the second team in the world in terms of continental championships, and we respect all opponents."
