Official: Barcelona Announces Activation of Hamza Abdel Karim's Purchase Clause

The Spanish club Barcelona announced on its official website that it informed the Egyptian club Al-Ahly about the activation of the purchase clause for the Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim on a permanent basis. The player is set to sign a new contract extending for three additional seasons until June 30, 2029.

Hamza Abdel Karim is 18 years old and is currently part of the Egyptian national team participating in the World Cup, where he played in two matches against Belgium and New Zealand.

The player joined Barcelona during the winter transfer window of this season, and after completing administrative procedures, he participated in the final stages of the season with the under-19 team, making a clear mark at the start of his journey with the club.

Abdel Karim played nine league matches, during which he scored six goals, including a hat-trick in the significant 9-0 victory over Monte Carlo.

He also participated in two matches in the Copa del Rey, where Barcelona finished the competition in second place.
