Turkish star Hakan Oğul, player of Italian club Inter Milan, made significant statements to the press following the victory over Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, qualifying for the semi-finals to face Spanish club Barcelona.

Oğul said: "It was a wonderful night, definitely with a lot of suffering, but we were ready for that. We knew Bayern would come out fighting, and we managed to handle the pressure. We responded well after falling behind, and when we took the lead 2-1, we defended strongly."

He added: "But the most important thing is that we believed in ourselves throughout the match, and we are happy with what we achieved. This success is the result of teamwork."

He continued: "It's not easy to play 90 minutes every three days. Our fans provide us with great support, and we always believe that we can cause damage to any team, whether in the league or the Coppa Italia."

He went on: "We tried to pressure Kimmich to stop him from controlling the game, but Müller was always chasing me, and I had to help Acerbi in stopping him."

He pointed out that Müller's movements posed a constant threat, making the match more complicated, but he affirmed that Inter was ready to deal with this challenge.

He concluded his statements, saying: "We believe in our abilities, and we have enough strength and perseverance to achieve success in the upcoming matches."
