Shoubeir Criticizes Al-Ahly's Attempts to Sign Mostafa Mohamed
Media figure Ahmed Shoubeir criticized Al-Ahly's attempts to sign Mostafa Mohamed, the star of Nantes in France.
Shoubeir said in radio statements: "It's strange to hear someone say that Al-Ahly will bring Mostafa Mohamed. So, who will he play instead of, Wisam Abu Ali or Grady Shar, who also plays on the wing to get a chance to play in the presence of Wisam Abu Ali?"
He continued: "With all due respect to Mostafa Mohamed, and I personally like him a lot, but if you're looking for a striker, you have Mohamed Sherif who says I'm available, and a free player you won't pay anything for. But no one is talking to him. You also have Hamza Abdel Karim, the striker of the Egyptian national youth team, who is performing excellently with Ahmed El-Kass."
Al-Ahly is preparing to face its counterpart Farco next Tuesday in a match as part of the Cairo Capital Cup.
