Diaby: We Trust in Our Ability to Win the Title
French star Moussa Diaby of Al-Ittihad has confirmed his team's ability to achieve the Saudi League title.
Al-Ittihad won against Al-Orouba 2-0 yesterday, Thursday, in a match within the 27th round of the Saudi League.
Diaby said in statements to the newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat": "I am very happy with the victory over Al-Orouba, especially after the draw in the difficult match against Al-Ahli (2-2)... The three points today were essential to compensate for that result."
He added: "We played wonderfully today, and we didn't waste many opportunities... We succeeded in scoring two goals and enhancing our lead in the standings, which is what matters to us."
He further stated: "We trust in the spirit of Al-Ittihad and our ability to achieve the title... We will do our utmost in every match, for the club and our fans."
