Mohamed Zidan Comments on Ronaldo's Brilliance with Portugal
Mohamed Zidan, the former star of the Egyptian national team, commented on Cristiano Ronaldo's impressive performance with Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team during the international break.
Ronaldo participated with the Portuguese national team in the home and away matches of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League, and the Portuguese team managed to qualify for the semi-finals after defeating Denmark with an aggregate score of 5-3.
Zidan stated on the program "In the Goal": "The development of the Roshan League has contributed to the brilliance of foreign players with their national teams during the international break, and this has been clearly evident concerning both the technical and physical levels."
He added: "My comments are not limited to one or two players, but rather to most of the names that participated with their national teams during the international break, and this indicates the clear development in the Roshan League in terms of level and strong competition among all clubs."
He continued: "In my opinion, Ronaldo was the best player in the Roshan League during the international break, due to his leadership role and ongoing passion with Portugal, as he always contributes to scoring goals, despite his age and distance from European fields."
He concluded: "There are several names that performed well among the Roshan League players, such as Riyad Mahrez with Algeria and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Gabon, but Ronaldo was the star of the break from my perspective."
