Saudi Pro League Announces First Six Matchdays Schedule
The Saudi Pro League has announced the dates for the first six matchdays of the Roshan Saudi League for the 2026-2027 season, in preparation for the upcoming season's kickoff.
The season will start on August 13, 2026, while the league competitions will conclude on May 29, 2027, with a total of 306 matches spread over 34 rounds.
The preparation of the Roshan League schedule comes amid a busy calendar, which includes the participation of eight Saudi clubs in four international tournaments, in addition to international breaks and the commitments of the Saudi national team, as well as hosting the AFC Asian Cup 2027.
The first round on August 13 will see three matches; Abha will face Al Hazm at 7:15 PM, Al Shabab will meet Al Qadisiyah at 9:00 PM, and Al Diriyah will take on Al Ahli at the same time.
The first round continues on August 14, with Neom facing Al-Fayha at 7:57 PM, Al-Ettifaq against Al-Riyadh at 9:00 PM, and Al-Hilal taking on Al-Faisaly at the same time.
The first round will conclude on August 15 with three matches; Al Taawoun faces Al Khaleej at 7:15 PM, Al Ittihad takes on Al Khulood at 9:00 PM, and Al Nassr meets Al Fateh at the same time.
The second round will commence on August 20, with Al-Faihah taking on Al-Hilal at 9 PM. On August 21, four matches are scheduled: Riyadh vs. Al-Nassr at 7 PM, Al-Hazm vs. Al-Dhahriah at 7:15 PM, Al-Faisaly vs. Al-Nom and Al-Qadisiyah vs. Al-Ittihad at 9 PM.
The second round will resume on August 22, featuring Al-Fateh against Al-Ettifaq at 6:45 PM, Al-Khulood facing Al-Taawoun at 7:10 PM, and Al-Khaleej taking on Al-Shabab along with Al-Ahli versus Abha at 9:00 PM.
The third round will start on August 24, featuring the matches between Neom and Al-Qadisiyah at 7:40 PM, and Al-Ittihad against Al-Hazm at 9:00 PM.
Matchday three on August 25 will see three encounters, with Abha facing Al-Khaleej at 7:05 PM, Al-Taawoun taking on Al-Fayha at 7:10 PM, and Al-Ettifaq meeting Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab in Riyadh at 9:00 PM.
The third round will conclude on August 26, with Al-Faisaly facing Al-Fateh at 7 PM, and Al-Dar'iyah taking on Al-Khulood at 9 PM, before Al-Hilal meets Al-Ahli on September 1 at 9 PM.
Matchday four will commence on August 28, featuring five matches; Riyadh will face Neom at 6:50 PM, Al-Fayha will take on Abha at 7 PM, and Al-Khaleej will meet Al-Hilal while Al-Nassr goes up against Al-Taawun at 9 PM.
Matchday four will continue on August 29, featuring Al-Khulood against Al-Ahli at 7:05 PM, and Al-Ettifaq facing Al-Dar'iya along with Al-Fateh taking on Al-Ittihad at 9:00 PM. The action wraps up with Al-Hazm versus Al-Shabab on August 30 at 7:05 PM.
The fourth round concludes on August 30, with Qadsia facing Al-Faisaly at 9 PM, as both teams continue their journey in the new season.
Matchday five begins on September 3 with three matches; Al-Fayha faces Al-Kholood at 6:55 PM, Neom takes on Al-Khaleej at 7:30 PM, and Al-Dar'iyah meets Al-Qadsiah at 9:00 PM.
On September 4, the fifth round will see Abha face Al-Ettifaq at 7 PM, while Al-Shabab will take on Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli will meet Al-Riyadh at 9 PM.
The fifth round concludes on September 5 with three matches: Al-Faisaly faces Al-Hazm at 6:50 PM, Al-Taawoun takes on Al-Fateh at 6:55 PM, and Al-Ittihad meets Al-Nassr at 9:00 PM.
Matchday six will commence on September 7, featuring Al-Khaleej versus Al-Riyadh at 6:30 PM, followed by Al-Hilal against Neom at 9:00 PM.
Matchday six continues on September 8, with Al-Ettifaq facing Al-Faisaly at 6:30 PM, followed by Al-Hazm against Al-Taawoun at 6:55 PM, and Al-Qadsiah taking on Al-Ahli along with Al-Ittihad facing Al-Faih at 9:00 PM.
The sixth round concludes on September 9, featuring three matches: Al-Khulood vs. Al-Shabab at 6:55 PM, Al-Fateh vs. Al-Dhariyah, and Al-Nassr vs. Abha at 9:00 PM.
The opening rounds are highly anticipated by fans, given the strong signings made by clubs during the summer transfer window, signaling fierce competition from the very first whistle.
Coaching staff are striving to make the most of the preparation period to physically and technically equip players, while also devising appropriate strategies before entering a long race for competition in the championships.
