Vinicius: We Need to Rethink Everything We Did

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior appeared in a press statement after the 4-1 loss against Argentina in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Vinicius said: "In the locker room, there is a lot to talk about. We need to think only about what we did on the field. We played very poorly while the Argentine national team played a fantastic game in front of their fans."

He added: "We need to rethink everything we did; this cannot happen. We need to evolve and not give up, as there is only one year left until the World Cup."

He continued: "We need to do a lot of different things and focus on the good things we do to create a great team. Everyone knows the weight of this shirt; we need to improve, keep our heads held high, and never give up. Let's qualify for the World Cup."

He emphasized: "I have already played in one World Cup, and I don't want to lose again."
