French national team midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni spoke to the press after qualifying for the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League, winning on penalties against Croatia, following a 2-0 defeat in the first leg and a 2-0 victory in the second leg.

Tchouaméni said: "We wanted to show a completely different side and build on our second half in the first leg, and that’s what we did. We managed to add some madness to this match and in the end, we came out victorious, and I think we deserved the win."

He added: "Did you believe in the comeback? Obviously, if we didn’t believe it, no one would believe it for us. We worked hard, we told each other things, and we were eager to show something else."

He continued: "Right now, we are more confident; we just won on penalties twice. We have a great goalkeeper who helps us gain confidence, and we are happy to be able to reach the semi-finals."
