Sunday 23-03-2025
Italian club Juventus announced through its official website the appointment of Croatian Igor Tudor as the new head coach of the first team, marking a new chapter in his journey with the Old Lady, after having been a former player for the club.

Tudor joined Juventus in the summer of 1998 from Hajduk Split and quickly established himself in the defense thanks to his physical strength and tactical flexibility. During his time with the team, he played 174 matches, scoring 21 goals, and was a key player in the lineup, having won the Serie A title twice, the Italian Super Cup twice, along with the Intertoto Cup.

After retiring, Tudor returned to Turin in the 2020/2021 season to work within the coaching staff under Andrea Pirlo, contributing to the achievement of the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup.

Now, Tudor returns to Juventus, but this time as the head coach of the first team, succeeding former coach Thiago Motta, in a move aimed at bringing the team back to the podium.
