Turkish star Hakan Oğul, midfielder for Inter Milan, expressed his hope for his compatriot Arda Güler to join the ranks of Inter Milan, amid reports indicating the Italian club's desire to sign the young Real Madrid player.

Güler, who is 20 years old, moved to Real Madrid during the summer of 2023 from Fenerbahçe, but has yet to receive regular opportunities in the starting lineup under coach Carlo Ancelotti.

According to media reports, Inter Milan has intensified its efforts to sign Güler, having initiated preliminary talks with his agents to discuss the possibility of bringing him on board.

In his statements, Oğul said: "Arda should go where he gets more playing minutes. He is a very important player, and I consider him a brother to me, and I hope he joins us at Inter."

He added: "He deserves a team that gives him more time on the pitch. All clubs wish to sign outstanding players, but I don't know his current situation at Real Madrid, so I don't want to delve into details."

Güler's future at Real Madrid seems to be in question, opening the door for the possibility of his transfer to Serie A in search of greater playing opportunities.
