A report revealed today, Monday, that clubs from the Saudi Professional League have entered negotiations to sign Colombian star Luis Diaz, the Liverpool winger, who is a primary target for Barcelona in the summer transfer window of 2025.

The Catalan club aims to strengthen its squad with a distinguished left winger, while showing interest in several prominent names, including Diaz, who has been performing excellently this season. Meanwhile, Saudi league clubs continue to focus on attracting global stars, benefiting from the substantial financial support provided by the Public Investment Fund.

According to renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Diaz could leave Liverpool next summer, as his transfer is garnering significant interest from Saudi league clubs, which have the financial capacity to meet Liverpool's demands. Romano added that Barcelona wishes to sign the player but may face difficulties in meeting the required price, which stands at 80 million euros.

Diaz has participated in 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 5 assists, making him one of the standout players in the English team.
