Laporta reveals updates on negotiations with Yamal and Flick
Juan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, revealed the developments in negotiations with star Lamine Yamal and coach Hans Flick regarding the signing of a new contract.
Laporta stated in the press interview published today, Sunday: "The renewal of Lamine Yamal's contract has already been agreed upon; only the official signing remains."
Regarding Flick, he said: "We had agreed since January to extend his contract for an additional year until 2027. We haven't signed officially yet, but Hans is a man who keeps his word."
He added: "He proved that when he previously said he couldn't come to Barcelona because he had signed with the German national team, but he and I knew that one day he would coach Barcelona."
