Barcelona celebrated the Spanish league title in front of its fans, after losing 3-2 against Villarreal in the 37th round of La Liga, at the Montjuïc Stadium.
After the match, the players, coaching staff, and club president Joan Laporta celebrated the title, with the president of the Spanish Football Federation, Rafael Lozano, handing the trophy to the Catalan team.
Barcelona had secured the La Liga title in the previous round after defeating Espanyol 2-0.
This title marks the 28th in the history of the Catalan club in the Spanish La Liga competition.
