Diyala managed to secure a valuable draw against their host Al-Kahrabaa with a score of (1-1) in the match that brought the two teams together during the 23rd round of the Iraqi Stars League.

The first half witnessed exchanged opportunities between the two teams, and Diyala was close to taking the lead early on after being awarded a penalty in the 9th minute, but Collins Obari missed it, allowing Al-Kahrabaa to maintain a clean sheet.

In the second half, both teams continued their attempts until Al-Kahrabaa managed to break the deadlock in the 81st minute through Munther Adel Ni'mah, putting his team in the lead.

However, Diyala did not give up and succeeded in equalizing in the 88th minute through the French player Louis Bahama, allowing the orange team to snatch a precious point away from home.
