Dortmund's Director Talks About Brandt's Future
The future of Julian Brandt with Dortmund is uncertain.
Sebastian Kehl, the sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, spoke about the future of the team's star, the German international midfielder Julian Brandt.
Kehl was asked during an interview with Sky Sports whether the 28-year-old player would remain a key player for Borussia Dortmund in the future.
He said: "You can't say that in the current situation. Of course, he has a contract, but we are in a difficult position."
He added: "We know that some contracts expire in 2026. But I think the players and we are currently focusing on what we need to deal with on a daily basis - winning matches. Julian knows that too, and Dortmund will do its best for that."
