Spanish coach Luis Enrique, head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, spoke at a press conference held before the match against Rennes in the 25th round of Ligue 1, which will take place at Roazhon Park tomorrow, Saturday, March 8.

Enrique said: "Rennes is a team in excellent form, having achieved four victories in their last five matches, which reflects a clear improvement in their performance. They are characterized by strong defense and high pressing in individual confrontations, in addition to having players capable of making a difference. Luis Enrique also spoke about the Rennes coach, expressing his respect for him despite not knowing him deeply, saying: "I wasn't in Ligue 1 when he was playing, so I don't know him well, but it's clear that he has done an excellent job leading his team recently. Building a good relationship with players in a short time is not easy, but he has succeeded in doing that. Hearing praise from our colleagues in the football world is a great motivator for me and the players, and it encourages us to continue working hard."

Regarding the performance of his former team Rennes, Enrique commented: "He had a great performance with Rennes last season, and we continuously follow his development. It's natural to talk about players adapting to new environments, as each player goes through a different phase in the adaptation process. We believe in his abilities, and our signing aligns with our philosophy of building a strong team for the future. So far, he has made significant contributions, and we expect more from him."
