Palestinian reports have discussed several new names that will feature in the Palestinian national team's squad for their matches against Jordan on March 20 and Iraq on March 25, as part of the World Cup qualifiers.

The squad will include, for the first time, Hamid Hamdan, a midfielder from Egyptian club Petrojet, Khaled Al-Nabris, a forward from Ismaily, Adam Al-Ka'id, a midfielder from Dutch club Breda, and Asad Allah Al-Hamlaawi, a forward from Polish club Slask Wroclaw.

The Palestinian fans hope that the procedures to include Adam Dagheim, the star of Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, Tamer Bani Awda, a winger from English club West Bromwich Albion, Jamal Hamad, a winger from Qatari club Al-Gharafa, and other potentially surprising names will be completed.

Bader Moussa, a forward from Petrojet, returns to the squad after a long absence, while Omar Faraj, a forward from Egyptian club Zamalek on loan to Swedish club Diggerfors, has been excluded.

The usual names will also be present in the squad, including Wisam Abu Ali, the top scorer of Egyptian club Al-Ahly, Aadi Al-Dabbagh, the all-time top scorer for the Palestinian national team currently playing for Scottish club Aberdeen, and Mustafa Zidan, a midfielder from Norwegian club Rosenborg.

Additionally, the squad will feature players currently in Qatar, including Rami Hamada, the goalkeeper for Al-Murakhia, the defensive duo from Al-Wakrah, Musab Al-Battat and Michel Milad, the defensive duo from Al-Rayyan, Imad Muhajna and Mohamed Saleh, Yasser Hamad, a defender from Al-Gharafa, Ata Jaber, a midfielder from Qatar SC, Alaa Al-Din Hassan, a star from Al-Arabi, and Imad Sawafata, a midfielder from Al-Waab.

Several players from the Libyan league are expected to be included, such as Tamer Siyam, a star from Al-Nasr, Zaid Qanbar, a star from Al-Ahly, Mahmoud Abu Warda, a midfielder from Al-Tahaddi, in addition to Wajdi Nabhan, a full-back from Al-Jazeera Jordan, and Moussa Firawi, a full-back from Egyptian club Ghazl El Mahalla.

Meanwhile, the situation remains unclear for the standout stars in the Lebanese league this season, including Mohamed Habous, a star from Al-Ansar, and Islam Al-Batran, a star from Al-Safaa.

Most likely, Mohamed Wadi, a former striker for Egyptian club Pyramids, will continue to be absent due to unfitness, and Mahmoud Eid, a forward for Bangkok United in Thailand, despite his impressive performance this season, due to the abundance of options in the attack. It is expected that Mohamed Basim Rashid, a midfielder from Indonesian club Persibaya, will be included, as he is one of the players with the most appearances for the Palestinian national team.
