Bayern Munich has officially announced that their goalkeeper Manuel Neuer suffered a muscle tear during the match against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League, which ended with a 3-0 victory for the Bavarians.

According to the official statement released by the club, Neuer's absence has not yet been determined, as he will undergo further medical examinations to assess his condition. The German goalkeeper left the match in the 58th minute after feeling pain that prevented him from continuing the game.

Although the duration of the German goalkeeper's absence from participating with the Bavarian team has not been clarified, some reports suggest that he will be out for at least 3 or 4 matches.

Bayern Munich will visit Bayer Leverkusen for the return match on Tuesday, March 11, which will take place at the BayArena at 10 PM Cairo time, and 11 PM Mecca time.
