Royal Army Coach: Al Ahly is the King of Luck in the World
Portuguese coach Alexander Santos, the head coach of the Moroccan Royal Army team, praised Al Ahly, confirming that they are the closest candidate to win the African Champions League title.
Santos stated on the "Trend" program on Al Ahly's channel: "I received offers from Egyptian clubs because I am a successful coach, but I preferred to lead the Royal Army team."
He continued: "I worked in Egyptian football before with Beccal in Al Ahly and I was happy to work as a coach at Al Ahly, even though Beccal did not achieve successes with the team."
He added: "Al Ahly is the top contender to reach the African Champions League final and win the title because the team always competes in any tournament it participates in."
Santos concluded: "Al Ahly is the king of luck in the world, and I expect the African Champions League final to be between Al Ahly and the Royal Army, and Al Ahly is a hurdle for any team in the world, not just for the Royal Army team."
