Christensen Injury: Details and Duration of Absence
Saturday 01-03-2025
Barcelona has received a painful blow after Danish defender Andreas Christensen suffered a new setback in training, which will keep him off the pitch for a period that could last up to a full month.

According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Christensen has suffered a setback in the soleus muscle of his right leg, meaning he will be absent from the team for at least three weeks, and this could extend until the end of March.

The Danish defender had been sidelined for about six months after suffering an injury during the Valencia match, where he played only 26 minutes before leaving the field injured. Despite receiving medical clearance to return last Wednesday, he suffered a new injury in training, delaying his return once again.

Christensen's absence comes at a sensitive time as Barcelona faces important matches both domestically and in Europe.
