Al-Soma Comments on His Team's Victory Over Al-Nassr
Omar Al-Soma, star of Al-Orouba Club in Saudi Arabia, talked about the victory his team achieved over Al-Nassr yesterday, Friday.
Al-Orouba won against Al-Nassr with a score of 2-1 in a match as part of the 23rd round of the Roshan League, where Al-Soma scored his team's first goal and assisted on the second.
Al-Soma said via the Saudi "SSC" sports channels: "We achieved 3 valuable points against a big team like Al-Nassr, and this will give us a strong boost for what is to come."
He added: "Al-Nassr remains a big club despite the defeat, and we struggled in the last minutes due to the pressure, but the victory was ours, thanks to our fight until the last moments."
Regarding facing Ronaldo, Al-Soma said: "This is a historic day for me, as the 'Don' has been my idol in football since childhood, and I thank the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for bringing a player like him."
He concluded: "I have been cheering for Ronaldo since 2004, and I don’t like to see him sad, but I will be selfish with him, choosing my joy and helping my team, and I wish him success in what is to come."
