The statement from Modern Sport regarding the appointment of Abdel Zaher El-Sakka was as follows: "The board of directors of Modern Sport Club, headed by Walid Dabbas, has decided to appoint Abdel Zaher El-Sakka, the former star of Egyptian football, as the sports director of the club for the upcoming period."
