Davis agent: Real Madrid was among our options
Bayern Munich star Alfonso Davies admitted that Real Madrid was interested in signing the Canadian star, before signing a new contract with the Bavarian club.
"Real Madrid was definitely a serious option and we made talks with them, there were talks with Real Madrid last January."
He added: "We had talks with other clubs as well, but in the end, a decision had to be taken, and that was to stay in Bayern Munich."
He added: "We have our respect for Real Madrid, it is a big club and one of the most successful clubs in history. It is always an honor for any player to receive an offer from a club like this, as well as from Bayern Munich or other big clubs in the English Premier League."
He concluded: "In the end, it was necessary to make a decision, and at the beginning it was not easy because we were not sure of what would happen with Bayern Munich, and the player was aware of this so we kept all the options on the table."
