
Gross: The victory over El Gouna was very important
Zamalek coach Christian Gross spoke about his team's victory against El Gouna, stressing that he was very important, especially after losing from Modern Sport in the last round.
Zamalek won a 4-1 victory over El Gouna in a match held today in round 10 of the Egyptian Premier League.
Gross said in the press conference after the match: "Today's match was difficult and we succeeded in achieving victory and happy to score the attackers in today's meeting, the team performed well, especially in the second half, and we started preparing for the next Pyramids match in the league."
He continued: "Zamalek started the match well and scored an early goal, but the team did not take advantage of that, but the performance in the second half was better."
Gross stressed that "Abdullah Al -Saeed is an important player for us, but we must have solutions to compensate for his absence, and this needs a lot of work."
He added: "What we want to improve is not to receive goals, especially the goal of today's meeting, and happy that the injury of the winch is not in his knee, but he is in his head and will be ready for the next match."
