Hassan Shehata on Mamdouh Abbas: He Deserves a Statue Inside Zamalek Club
Hassan Shehata, the former Zamalek star, praised Mamdouh Abbas, the honorary president of the White Club, stating that he deserves a statue inside the club.
Hassan Shehata said on Al-Nahar channel: "Mamdouh Abbas deserves a statue from Zamalek Club because he spends on Zamalek Club from top to bottom."
He added: "Mamdouh Abbas spends on Zamalek Club out of love for the club. He and I went to the match against Otoho of Congo without anyone noticing us. Afterwards, I told him, 'We won't go to Algeria to attend the match against CR Belouizdad.' He said, 'You can go and come back.' I told him, 'Alright, let's attend the return match.'"
He continued: "Mamdouh Abbas provided a private plane for the Zamalek team at his own expense to travel to Algeria for the match against Chabab Belouizdad."
Zamalek is preparing to face its rival Al Ahly tomorrow, Friday, as part of the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League title playoffs.
