Ahmed Al-Ahmar, the star of the Zamalek handball team, announced the end of his official journey with the White Castle at the conclusion of the current season, marking the end of a long and successful career filled with achievements within the club.

Al-Ahmar delivered an emotional farewell message to the Zamalek fans and everyone who accompanied him on his journey, saying: "With the end of the season, my journey with Zamalek Club comes to an end. I would like to thank the fans who were always supporting us, all the people I played with, all the coaches, and everyone I met along the way."

He pointed out the challenges the team faced in recent years, adding: "There might have been difficulties in the last three years due to a significant change in the strategy that the team had been following since its inception in the first team. But ultimately, Zamalek Club will remain great, and hopefully, the championships will return again."

Ahmed El-Ahmar is considered one of the most prominent handball stars in the history of Zamalek and the Egyptian national team, as his name is associated with a large number of championships and achievements both locally and continentally.
