Orlando Pirates coach: We want to win in order to take the lead
Ahly will meet Orlando Pirates tomorrow, Saturday, in the sixth and final round of the group stage in the African Champions League.
Rivero said in the press conference before the match: “We are excited about tomorrow’s match against Al-Ahly. There is no doubt that it is an important match for us and we want to win in order to take the lead.”
He added: “We have the desire to perform well and get the three points. We came to Cairo and we know how important the match is. We respect Al-Ahly. I believe that the victory is very important and will make a difference in our journey in the tournament.”
He continued: “We are accustomed to the presence of fans, and it will be a great opportunity for the fans to see the football that we will present against Al-Ahly.”
