Officially...Nuno Almeida is the technical director of Saudi Damac
The Saudi Damak Club officially announced today, Wednesday, that Nuno Almeida has assumed the position of coach of the team, succeeding Romanian Cosmin Contra.
The official account of Damak Club said on the “X” platform: “Almeida has good experiences with Arab football in general and Qatari football in particular, after assuming responsibility for many... The teams, where he worked in the Al-Sadd club’s Al-Ahly team.”
He added: “Almeida assumed responsibility for coaching the Varco club, and also worked as an assistant to the Portuguese. Josevaldo Ferreira with Zamalek Club, in addition to his work in many teams in the Portuguese League.
He concluded: "Nuno Almeida also had his first experience as a technical director in Egypt, in the 2021-2022 season, where he worked with Pharco Club."
