Vitoria's agent denies the existence of negotiations with Al-Shabab Al-Saudi
Nawaf Al Mahdi, agent of Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria, denied the existence of negotiations with the Saudi Al-Shabab Club.
Al Arabiya FM radio had confirmed that Rui Vitoria was close to assuming the position of technical director for youth.
Al-Shabab is seeking to sign a new coach to succeed Vitor Pereira, who has become close to coaching Wolverhampton, England.
Al-Mahdi said in statements to the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper: “The Portuguese coach respects his contract with Panathinaikos, and completely refuses to talk about any negotiations.”
He continued: "Rui Vitoria's focus is currently on the Dinamo Minsk match, which is scheduled for this evening, Thursday, in the Conference League."
