
Fouzi Lakjaa, President of the Moroccan Football Federation, confirmed that Morocco will be a candidate to organize the 2029 Club World Cup.
Lakjaa said in statements reported by the Moroccan Al-Butola newspaper: “The 2030 World Cup is not the only major event that our country will organize. Regarding the possibility of running for the organization of the 2029 Club World Cup, Lakjaa said: “The door for candidacy to organize the FIFA Cup has not yet been opened.” The Club World Cup 2029, but we will be favorites, that is clear.”
