The Dutch coach Robin van Persie, coach of the Heerenveen team, ruled out the idea of coaching his former club, Arsenal, in the future.
Van Persie stated on this subject, saying: “I do not expect Working at Arsenal again. I think this door is closed. I see there is no room for that because of my move to Manchester United.”
He continued: “No one ever knows in football.” But that is my belief. It is still sensitive for them, not for me. It is especially sensitive for Arsenal fans.”
He continued: “I have learned to plan for the future. Being away has no meaning at all. I also don't want to live mainly in the present. I'm really enjoying it here and I'm very proud to be coach of Heerenveen. I feel very welcome within the club and among the fans."
