The American Football League (MLS) has witnessed great developments, to become one of the most prominent leagues in North America.

 The league follows a system similar to previous seasons with updates that add more excitement and competition. Here are the details of the championship system for this year:

The teams are divided into two main groups: the Eastern Group and the Western Group, with the aim of strengthening the competition between the geographically near teams.

Qualifying for exclusionary roles (Playoffs)

The best 7 teams from each group qualify directly to the first round of the qualifiers.

The eighth and ninth teams in each group qualify for a watershed match called the Wild Card match that plays with the direct exclusion system.

The winner of each Wild Card match gets a place in the first round of the qualifiers and joins the seven teams that are directly qualified from each group.

The first round of the qualifiers

The first round of the qualifiers follows the best system of three games, where the two teams meet in a series of three games:

The team that wins two of three games qualifies for the next round.

Each match must end with a winner (either in the original time or additional runs and a penalty shootout if necessary).

The higher ranking team hosts the first and third game (if necessary), while the second match is played at the other team stadium.

Advanced elimination roles

After the end of the first round, the exclusionary roles continue with the direct exclusion system, where each team faces its opponent in one match, and the winning team continues to advance towards the title.

The winning teams qualify for the group's semi -finals, then the final match for each group, where the hero of the Eastern Group and a champion of the Western Group crowned.

The final of the US League Cup (MLS CUP)

The season concludes with a single final match known as the MLS CUP, which is usually held in November.

In this match, the hero of the Eastern Group will meet with the hero of the Western Group to determine the champion of the season. 

The team has the best performance during the normal season (the highest points in the two groups) hosts the final match, adding an additional competitive advantage.
