The journalist Ibrahim Saeed praised Al-Ahly club star Mohamed Magdy Afsha after his remarkable performance in the Egyptian Super Cup final match against Zamalek.

Al-Ahly defeated Zamalek in the match on penalty kicks with a score of 7-6 after the end of regular and extra time in a goalless draw 0-0, so that the Red Giants won the Egyptian Super Cup for the 15th time in its history.

Ibrahim Saeed said on Al-Nahar channel: “I want to congratulate Afsha on his performance in the Egyptian Super Cup, even though he participated in a very short time, but he was impressive. You feel that he is such a blessed man.”

He added jokingly: “What is the difference between doing Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous celebration? You are stronger than him, and the muscle strengthens your heart, and the movement he made was only the difference between them in height, but also in terms of his capabilities, stronger than Ronaldo.”

He continued: “Afsha is one of the personalities who loves the club, and he works for the band even if he plays for a quarter of an hour. He fights and dies himself, and he wants to win for his band. For this reason, may God grant him success. As long as you help your band and support your colleagues, may God stand with you.”

He concluded: “Despite the circumstances that have happened to him recently, he is not participating on a regular basis, and he wants to play and participate more often, but the man is working hard. Even the penalty kick came in and he shot it, and he has confidence in himself.”
