Media personality Ahmed Shoubeir criticized Zamalek for the team's performance against Pyramids in the match that took place in the sixth round of the decisive phase of the Premier League, which ended with Pyramids winning by a goal to nil.

Shoubeir said on "Al Ahly" channel: "Zamalek yesterday left the match by their own choice against Pyramids, and I won’t continue to understand between the lines. Zamalek yesterday did not shoot a single shot on Pyramids, and the only ball that reached Zamalek's goal resulted in a goal.

He added: "I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but there was no spirit or jealousy for the shirt or concern, and it was a general feeling among all Zamalek fans, the stands were empty, and social media was talking and led to this result.

He continued: "Instead of calculating your chances, if you had won this match, you would have had a chance to compete for a spot in the African Champions League.

Shoubeir concluded: "So you won't come back after years and talk about the club of the century; you are not participating in the tournament that gives you a ranking, even the second place you used to get, you are now losing it.
