Las Palmas player on Al Hilal's radar
Press reports spoke of a desire from Al Hilal Saudi Club to include a player from the Spanish Las Palmas club in the upcoming winter Mercato.
The Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya said that Al-Hilal Club is trying to sign Las Palmas winger Alberto Molero.
The player was On Al Hilal’s radar in the Mercato last summer.
Luis Helguera, sports director of Las Palmas Club, said that Al-Hilal and other clubs from the Saudi League communicated verbally recently to inquire about the status of Alberto Molero.
Helguera indicated that the financial value of waiving the player's services may be greater than what the club requested in the Mercato last summer.
He stressed that things will become clearer after the start of the winter Mercato next January.
