Ahmed Hassan: Zamalek will not withdraw from the Super Final
Former Zamalek star Ahmed Hassan confirmed that the Whites management decided to play in the Egyptian Super Cup final.
The Zamalek administration had threatened to withdraw from the match in protest of what happened to the team’s players in the Emirates.
Some of the Zamalek players assaulted a security personnel In the Emirates after the team’s match against Pyramids, they were detained.
Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: “A source in Zamalek: The board of directors decides to play in the Egyptian Super Cup final under any circumstances.”
The Egyptian Super Cup final match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek will be held next Thursday at eight o’clock in the evening, Cairo and Mecca time.
