Calzada: The Club World Cup is the most important tournament

Steve Calzada, CEO of Al Hilal Saudi Club, confirmed that the Club World Cup is the most important tournament this season.

Al-Hilal is participating in the tournament, which includes 32 teams from various continents of the world.

Calzada said in a propaganda conference reported by the "Asharq Al-Awsat" newspaper. “Al-Hilal is looking forward to the tournament being an ideal opportunity to interact with European clubs and play at a greater level.”

He added: “The Club World Cup is a very important tournament. I realize that there is a lot of controversy surrounding it.” Regarding the pressure of club matches in the world, but it is perhaps the most important tournament this season.”

He continued: “The World Cup is a great opportunity to showcase ourselves to the world, and to know our level when playing with adults.”
