Zamalek won the African Super Cup at the expense of Al-Ahly on penalties after the end of regular time in a 1-1 draw.
Mohamed Abdel Jalil said in radio statements: My son has not spoken for 3 days due to the shock of the match, and he does not want to talk about it.”
He added: “Marcel Kohler is responsible for Al-Ahly’s loss. The matter is similar to what happened in 1994, and it requires... To a strong football manager.”
He continued: “The one who has pride is the one who won the African Super Cup match. Everyone saw Shikabala collecting Zamalek players and motivating them for the match, and what happened was a good shock for Al-Ahly, so they can get back on the right path.”
