The African Super Cup match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek will be held on September 27th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Mohamed Salah, the former Zamalek star, spoke about the match on On Sport FM radio, saying: “The match is technically difficult, because it is the beginning of a season and the performance of the two teams is still not clear.”

He continued: “This is a normal situation. The season ended late and the preparation period, but in the first and last, whoever plays for Al-Ahly and Zamalek must remain well and without any circumstances.”

He continued: “But I want to say that I am confident that Zamalek will win. We do not have a complete picture of the foreigners or the deals that have been made, and this is a kind of war of words in football.”

He added: “Al-Ahly has problems with celebrating, and this did not exist before. We saw pictures of the players staying up late and celebrating in restaurants, and we see that this is a different situation in Al-Ahly club.”
