Spanish star Aymeric Laporte spoke in press statements about the strength of the Saudi League and the possibility of him returning to play in Europe again.
Laporte said in statements highlighted by the Daily Mail: “I have great respect for Al-Nasr Saudi Club, but if I have the opportunity to return to Europe, I will probably return. I moved to the international club out of my personal desire. After I preferred not to sit on the bench at Manchester City, in addition to the tension in my relationship with Pep Guardiola.”
He added: “N’Golo Kante, the Al-Ittihad player, proved to Europe that the Saudi League is strong.” It allows us to reach our highest levels, and I have never regretted accepting Al-Nasr’s Saudi offer. There are many things that my family and I love about Saudi Arabia, but I do not think we will stay here after the end of my contract.”
Several European clubs want to include Laporte, led by Spanish club Real Madrid.
