The veteran Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny announced in an official statement his retirement from playing permanently, after a career spanning 18 years.
The Polish goalkeeper was close to moving to the league. The Saudi club this summer, but the deal was not completed, before he terminated his contract with Juventus by mutual consent.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper played for Juventus, Arsenal, Roma, and Brentford during his professional career.
Chesty played 84 matches for his country in all competitions.
