Italian press reports revealed that Luciano Spalletti, the head coach of Juventus, has contacted Portuguese international Bernardo Silva, the Manchester City midfielder, to persuade him to join the Old Lady during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," negotiations between Juventus and the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, have been ongoing for several weeks, as the Italian club is eager to finalize the deal.

The report added that Spalletti directly entered the negotiation line and communicated with Bernardo Silva to discuss the possibility of his transfer to Allianz Stadium next summer.

The newspaper also explained that the Portuguese player has attracted the interest of several other European clubs, including Benfica and Barcelona, as his contract with Manchester City is nearing its end this season, and he has announced his departure from the team.

The report indicated that Juventus made an offer to the player with a three-year contract, with an annual salary of 7 million euros, in an attempt to persuade him to join the club.

The newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that Bernardo Silva will not decide on his next destination until the end of the season, while he continues to deliver strong performances with Manchester City, having played 47 matches across all competitions this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists.
