Luis Felipe is out of Al-Ittihad’s match against Al-Taawoun

Al-Ittihad team loses the efforts of one of its main players in the next Al-Taawoun match, which comes within the Saudi Roshan League competition.

Al-Ittihad opened its Roshen League campaign this season with a difficult victory over Al-Khuloud with a clean goal, scored by Algerian Houssem Aouar in the 94th minute.

Al-Ittihad will play its next match at home against Al-Taawoun, next Thursday, as part of the second round of the Roshen League.

According to press reports, Al-Ittihad will miss the services of its Brazilian defender, Luis Felipe, due to the injury he suffered during his participation in the Eternity match, yesterday, Saturday.

The medical examinations that Luis Felipe underwent showed an injury to the posterior muscle of the thigh, which is the same injury he suffered while facing Inter Milan in the friendly match in the European camp.

Luis Felipe is undergoing a treatment program immediately, starting on Sunday evening, and its duration will be determined before he returns to participate in group training with his fellow players.
