Zamalek decides to terminate Gamal Mutyaba’s contract

Hussein El-Sayed, a member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, revealed that the contract of Ugandan Jamal Mutyaba, the team’s player, was terminated during the past few hours.

Hussein El-Sayed said in his statements Yesterday, Friday, it was agreed with Gamal Mutyaba on all the financial details regarding the termination of his contract by mutual consent during the past few hours.

Press sources say that the Zamalek administration’s decision to terminate Mutyaba's contract came based on the recommendation of the Portuguese Jose Gomez, the team's coach, due to the lack of need for his services in the next season.

Jamal Mutyaba, 19 years old, joined the ranks of the club. Zamalek last January, as an underage player with a contract until June 2028.
