Ahmed Al-Hanfoosh, the head coach of the Saudi Arabia U17 national team, has granted the Green players a break from training today, Saturday, as part of the current training camp taking place in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The decision is part of the preparatory program for participation in the FIFA World Cup for Youth 2026, scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13.

The players took a break after resuming their training on Friday following a friendly match against the Qatar national team on Thursday as part of Saudi Arabia's preparations for the FIFA World Cup.

Saudi Arabia's coach, Al-Hanfoosh, has announced the squad for the national team participating in the FIFA World Cup, which includes 21 players to compete in the anticipated tournament.

The final training session saw players divided into two groups, where the participants primarily faced Qatar in recovery training, aimed at alleviating physical fatigue and regaining readiness.

The second group conducted tactical drills under the supervision of Al-Hanfoosh and his coaching staff, before concluding the training session with a small-sided game on half the pitch.

Saudi Arabia will compete in the FIFA World Cup in Group D alongside France, Uruguay, and Haiti, in the tournament hosted by Qatar until December 13.
