The Saudi U17 national team is set for a new test as they face Qatar in a friendly tomorrow, Thursday, during their preparatory camp in Doha ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

The match will take place at the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium in the Qatari capital at 6:30 PM, according to the schedule set by the Saudi Football Federation.

The players of the green team intensified their preparations during Wednesday's training session, under the guidance of coach Ahmed Al-Hanfoosh and his staff, as the training began with physical and fitness exercises.

The training session included a series of tactical drills, with the final part dedicated to practicing set pieces as part of the preparation for the friendly match.

As part of the preparations for the FIFA World Cup, players attended a refereeing lecture delivered by Ali Al-Traifi, the refereeing instructor at FIFA, with the participation of Abdul Rahman Al-Amri and Marai Al-Awaji.

The lecture addressed the key amendments and developments in football law, alongside explaining the mechanism of the Video Support System (VSS), which will be implemented during the FIFA World Cup under 17.

The Saudi national team is competing in the tournament in Group D, which includes France, Uruguay, and Haiti, in a challenge that awaits the Green during their global journey.
